Family, child, and adolescent therapy rooted in connection and growth
About me
Hi, I’m Wesley.
I work with children, adolescents, and families who are navigating emotional challenges, life transitions, and relationship stress. I’m especially drawn to helping families understand what’s happening beneath the surface and find steady, practical ways to move forward together.
My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line. I began my career as an engineer, but over time I felt called toward work that was more relational, meaningful, and grounded in connection. Looking back, I can see how I was being guided into family therapy and this work with children and teens.
In my work with families, I take a systemic approach—looking at how emotions, relationships, and family patterns interact. I support parents who want to better understand their child, adolescents who are struggling with big emotions or relationships, and families who want to improve communication and connection. I also use EMDR when appropriate to help clients process experiences that continue to impact their present-day lives.
Clients often describe me as calm, steady, and easy to talk to. I work at a pace that feels safe and collaborative, helping families make meaningful changes that feel sustainable over time.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature, working with my hands, and taking on new challenges. I value presence, curiosity, and walking alongside people during important seasons of change.
If you’re looking for a grounded, supportive space for your child, teen, or family, I’d be honored to work with you.

Training and Specialty
Adolescent and Children Therapy
In my work with adolescents and children, I focus on creating a space where they feel safe, seen, and understood. I take a relational and developmentally informed approach—helping young people explore emotions, navigate challenges, and make sense of what’s happening both inside and around them. When appropriate, I work collaboratively with parents to support connection, understanding, and growth at home and beyond.
Couples Therapy
I use a systemic approach rooted in Symbolic-Experiential Family Therapy, which means we explore the deeper patterns, roles, and emotional dynamics in your relationship—not just surface-level conflict. This work encourages honesty, connection, and meaningful change as you learn to engage with each other in more authentic ways.
Family Therapy
In family therapy, I take a systemic and experiential approach—looking at how each member’s voice, role, and emotions shape the whole. Together, we create space for honest conversations, deeper understanding, and new ways of connecting. Whether you're navigating conflict, transitions, or feeling stuck, therapy can help your family grow stronger, together.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-backed approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. It’s especially helpful for trauma and anxiety and can bring relief and clarity where talk therapy alone sometimes can’t. Whether you're dealing with a single incident or a lifetime of challenges, we can explore whether EMDR might be a helpful part of your healing process.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present to the experiences of the moment. In practice, non-judgmental acceptance is key to experiencing the benefits of life as it is, for what it is, and nothing more. This technique can help alleviate anxiety and worry, decrease stress, and support overall mental and spiritual wellbeing.
Gottman Level I & II
The Gottman method is a widely validated technique for couples therapy. This approach can be utilized to support couples in building conflict management skills and increasing intimacy. This approach can be beneficial regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or length of relationship.
